How to Use a Power BI Dashboard Background Template

1. Purchase and download the .fig file from LemonSqueezy

2. Open the file in Figma and select a dashboard layout frame

3. Switch the variable mode to your preferred color theme

4. Resize the frame to match your Power BI canvas size (e.g. 1280×720 or 1920×1080)

After applying this workflow across 30+ Power BI reports, the most common mistake I see is setting Image Fit to “Fill” instead of “Fit” — this stretches the background and misaligns the KPI zones. Always use Fit.
